Moose Snowmobile Trail Reports for Wednesday, February 14, 2024
The ground is white again as of Wednesday morning, with a couple of inches of fresh snow from Tuesday night.
Believe it or not, that is the first widespread snow accumulation of any kind locally over the past few weeks. So, it would be safe to say that the snow drought continues on.
With that said, the forecast this week certainly looks seasonal in terms of temperatures and it appears the general North Country region may receive spurts of snow as the weekend approaches.
But for now, riding still remains very limited. Several trail systems remain closed and numerous snowmobile clubs have been unable to groom over the last few weeks.
Here are the latest reports from out on the trails:
NOTE: Conditions are likely and do tend to change on a moment’s notice. Be sure to keep checking our website for any updates.

NOTICE: Local law enforcement and snowmobile club officials are warning all riders to obey any and all rules and regulations. This includes, but is not limited to: respecting closed trails and staying off from private property. Police warn to never snowmobile while intoxicated or under the influence of any substance. Watch your speeds and remember to look out for and give right-of-way to groomers on the trails.
