Multiple area fire departments respond to major fire at Ohio Town Barn

OHIO- Several local fire departments were dispatched Sunday afternoon for reports of a fully involved structure fire at the Town of Ohio Barn.

It happened shortly after 4:00 p.m.

Poland Fire Department was the primary responder on scene. Here is a statement released from their Facebook page:

"Without hesitation, firefighters from Poland, Newport, Middleville, Barneveld, Salisbury, Holland Patent, Stittville, Floyd, Remsen, and Deerfield came together to fight this devastating fire," the post reads.

"Kuyahoora was also there for rehab and protection of the firefighters. To watch them all work together was impressive to say the least. Thank you to all of you who gave up your Sunday afternoon of football and dinner with family and friends to save and protect our community. You are all true heroes. God Bless."

Images taken by numerous bystanders at the scene suggest this was a major fire, with what appears to be major damage. 

For the time being, local officials are reporting that temporary offices for the town will be established in alternate locations.
