NEW BREMEN- No injuries were reported in a Monday afternoon house fire in Lewis County.

It happened shortly before 3:00 p.m. at 8699 Erie Canal Road, New Bremen, NY.

Croghan was the primary fire department on scene, with mutual aid thanks to Beaver Falls, Castorland and New Bremen.

One of the tenants was originally alerted to the flames thanks to a neighbor, who noticed smoke coming from the roof.
