Further speculation over a possible Gubernatorial run by North Country Congresswoman Elise Stefanik is being stirred up again with the formation of a new Political Action Committee.
“After years of single party Democrat rule in New York, it has never been more clear that we need strong, commonsense Republican leadership in New York,” Stefanik claimed this week while announcing her new PAC – ‘Save New York.’
She says the committee serves as a platform to support New York Republican candidates, while also laying out the groundwork to accomplish what she says would be the goal of “firing” current Governor Kathy Hochul come November, 2026.

"From the highest taxes in the nation, to dangerous pro-criminal defund the police policies, to the least business friendly policies, and one of the most expensive states to raise a family in, failed Democrat policies have caused crisis after crisis in New York. It's never been clearer – New York needs a new generation of strong commonsense leadership," a statement reads from the Save New York website.
Just recently, New York Lieutenant Governor Antonio Delgado revealed an announcement that he will challenge Hochul next-year. As previously reported, a feud between the two leaders came to a tipping point and spilled into public view.
