ALBANY- New York’s Senate Republican Conference joined in unison with North Country Representative Elise Stefanik this week at the state Capitol with condemning what they refer to as “ongoing failures,” while also blaming current Democratic leadership.

“Governor Kathy Hochul is taking our state down a path of decline,” Senator Mark Walczyk said.

“We were grateful to have Congresswoman Stefanik in Albany to share insights from Washington and discuss how we can set New York on the right track."

"Here we are, another year, another failed radical reckless agenda and legislative session in New York State, passed by single Democratic rule, led by the worst Governor in America, Kathy Hochul. I dubbed her the worst Governor in America, because she is," Congresswoman Stefanik (R-NY-21) stated during her visit to Albany.

“Kathy Hochul and far-left Democrats have put New York last with this massive bloated $254 billion budget. It is anti-worker, anti-family, anti-farmer, anti-law enforcement, anti-small business, anti-manufacturer. This is why New York is losing residents and businesses at a record pace."

Meanwhile, Governor Hochul took a swipe of her own against GOP leadership at the federal level, specifically lashing out against the ‘One, Big, Beautiful Bill Act,’ which passed through the House of Representatives – with Stefanik serving as the deciding vote.

“The GOP’s Big Ugly bill would slash health care coverage for millions of New Yorkers and raise monthly costs by hundreds of dollars,” Governor Hochul claimed in a released statement.

“If New York’s Republican delegation won’t stand up for their own constituents, I will.” See the Governor's data list here

Though the office of Rep. Stefanik touts the beautiful bill will help New York and American families, Governor Hochul’s office has responded with a compiled list of data, claiming that New Yorkers will take a hit if the measure is ultimately passed and signed into law.

Just recently, we made another attempt to reach Elise Stefanik for an on-air segment and we have still yet to hear back as of this report.
