Several state lawmakers and figures of education have been expressing their concerns over education funding, specifically for foundation aid formula, since the Governor unveiled her proposed fiscal year 2025 state budget in January.
The way it stands for now without any negotiation, about half of school districts statewide would see some increases in funding, while the other half would endure significant losses.
