North Country teen charged in Carthage disturbance, Troopers say

CARTHAGE- A North Country youth is charged in the wake of a reported disturbance last month in Jefferson County, authorities say.

A 15-year-old teen, from Carthage, NY, whose name or gender was not specified, was arrested Wednesday morning by the New York State Police (Carthage). The teen is officially charged with one misdemeanor count of criminal mischief (w/intent to damage property).

The arrest reportedly stems from complaints of a disturbance May 12 in Carthage, Troopers said.

The teen was issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details available to report.
