North Country teenagers are faced with charges in the wake reported disturbance in Jefferson County

WILNA- A pair of North Country teenagers are faced with charges in the wake of a reported disturbance last Monday in Jefferson County, authorities say.

No names or genders were available to report, but the New York State Police in Carthage have arrested and charged a 17 and 16-year-old with one count each of falsely reporting an incident in the third-degree.

Both teenage suspects are from Carthage, NY. According to Troopers, this arrest stems from complaints of a disturbance in the town of Wilna, which was reported on October 30.

At press time, police said both teens were issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details provided.
