NOTICE: Lewis County DMV and Clerk's Office will close Thursday, August 3 for Employee Appreciation event

LOWVILLE- Lewis County Clerk Jake Moser is warning the public that his Clerk and DMV Offices will be closed down Thursday, August 3 for an Employee Appreciation event.

"Please plan accordingly for this slight change in our normal schedule, and sorry for any inconvenience this could cause," Moser said in a released statement.

According to officials, the DMV will stop accepting new customers between 2:00 and 2:15 p.m. that day and the Lewis County Clerk’s Office will stop accepting Pistol License transactions at 2:30 p.m. that day.

Both offices will be open for regularly scheduled hours and business on Friday August 4, 2023.
