November search warrant results in drug charges against local resident in Lowville, police say

LOWVILLE- A search warrant last fall in Lewis County has resulted in drug charges filed against a local resident, according to authorities.

Gladys Nagy, 30, of Lowville, NY was arrested and charged by the Lowville Village Police Department for misdemeanor counts of criminally possessing a controlled substance in the seventh-degree and criminally using drug paraphernalia in the second-degree, according to a notice from Police Chief Daryl Ortlieb on Tuesday.

Authorities say the arrest stems from a search warrant, which was executed in November, 2023 at Gladys’ apartment.

Gladys was issued with appearance tickets, returnable to Lowville Town Court at a later date.

There were no further details provided to report.
