JEFFERSON & LEWIS COUNTIES: WINTER STORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING.
* WHAT...Heavy mixed precipitation possible. Total snow and sleet accumulations of greater than 6 inches possible and ice accumulations up to one quarter of an inch possible.
* WHERE...Jefferson and Lewis Counties.
* WHEN...From Saturday afternoon through Sunday evening.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous.

ONEIDA COUNTY: WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING.
* WHAT...For the Winter Storm Watch, heavy mixed precipitation possible. Total snow accumulations between 5 and 9 inches and ice accumulations between one tenth and three tenths of an inch possible.
* WHERE...Northern Oneida and Southern Oneida Counties.
* WHEN...For the Winter Storm Watch, from Saturday afternoon through Sunday evening.
* IMPACTS...Power outages and tree damage are possible due to the ice. Travel could be very difficult at times. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday morning and evening commutes.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snowfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour are expected this morning along and just south of the NY Thruway corridor. Another round of moderate to occasionally heavy snow moves into the area on Saturday. The snow mixes with, and changes to sleet and freezing rain Saturday night into Sunday. The wintry mix then changes back to snow or snow showers late Sunday afternoon and evening.
