JEFFERSON & LEWIS COUNTIES:WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 P.M. WEDNESDAY EVENING TO 7 P.M. EST THURSDAY.
* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow and sleet accumulations of 1 to 3 inches in most areas, and 4 to 7 inches close to the Saint Lawrence River. Ice accumulations of up to a tenth of an inch. Winds gusting as high as 40 to 50-mph late tonight and early Thursday, especially near the north slopes of the Tug Hill Plateau.
* WHERE...Jefferson and Lewis Counties.
* WHEN...From 7 P.M. Wednesday evening to 7 P.M. EST Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Travel will be difficult. The hazardous conditions will impact the Wednesday evening and Thursday morning commutes. Gusty winds will down tree branches and cause isolated power outages.

ONEIDA COUNTY: WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 P.M. WEDNESDAY EVENING TO 10 A.M. EST THURSDAY.
* WHAT...For the Winter Weather Advisory, mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations up to 2 inches and ice accumulations around one tenth of an inch. Winds gusting as high as 40-mph.
* WHERE...Madison, Northern Oneida, and Southern Oneida Counties.
* WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, from 7 P.M. Wednesday evening to 10 A.M. EST Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday morning and evening commutes.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...There remains uncertainty in the exact location of the lake effect snow band Thursday evening through Friday. However the heavy lake effect snow may impact the Mohawk Valley region, including Utica, Rome and the NY Thruway Corridor. Snow amounts are forecast to quickly diminish south of the NY Thruway in Madison county.

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow and sleet accumulations up to 2 inches, with locally up to four inches across the Adirondacks and in southern Vermont. Ice accumulations of a coating up to two tenths of an inch. Winds gusting as high as 35-mph.
* WHERE...Northern Litchfield County in northwestern Connecticut, western Massachusetts, southern Vermont and the southern and western Adirondacks, Lake George Saratoga Region, Mohawk and Schoharie Valleys and the eastern Catskills of eastern New York.
* WHEN...From 7 P.M. Wednesday evening to 1 P.M. EST Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday morning commute.
