NYSP: Animal complaint in New Bremen leads to arrest of Lewis County resident

NEW BREMEN- An animal complaint has resulted in an accusation filed against a local resident in Lewis County.

On Thursday evening, the New York State Police (Lowville) announced the arrest of Renee L. McGlone, 22, of Castorland, NY with one misdemeanor count of torturing and/or injuring animals (failure to provide sustenance).

According to Troopers, this charge stems from a complaint filed on December 9, 2025 in the town of New Bremen.

At press time, police said that McGlone was issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details provided.
