NYSP: Domestic dispute results in charges against Herkimer County area resident

FAIRFIELD- Police say a domestic incident this week has resulted in charges filed against a Herkimer County area resident.

On Tuesday morning, the New York State Police (Herkimer) arrested and charged Andrew Hall, 34, of Newport, NY with one misdemeanor count each of acting in a manner injurious to a child (under 17) and criminal obstruction of breathing.

According to Troopers, these charges stem from a reported domestic incident Tuesday morning in the town of Fairfield.

At press time, police said that an investigation was pending and Hall was released on his own recognizance.

There were no further details provided.
