NYSP: DWI charges filed early Friday against Lewis County resident

MARTINSBURG- A local resident is accused of intoxicated driving in Lewis County, authorities are reporting.

Dominic S. Sorbello, 23, of Lyons Falls, NY was arrested early Friday by the New York State Police (Lowville). Sorbello is formally charged with one count each of DWI (first offense) and operating a motor vehicle (w/a .08 of 1% BAC or greater).

According to Troopers, the arrest was made shortly after 1:00 a.m. in the town of Martinsburg.

At press time, police said that Sorbello was issued with an appearance ticket.
