NYSP: Holland Patent resident charged with intoxicated driving following property damage crash in Trenton

TRENTON- A property damage accident late Monday in Oneida County has resulted in a DWI arrest for a local resident, authorities say.

Aaron M. Schaffner, 33, of Holland Patent, NY was arrested shortly after midnight Tuesday by the New York State Police (Remsen). Schaffner is formally charged with one count of DWI (first-offense).

According to Troopers, the arrest was made following reports of a property damage accident on State Route 12 (town of Trenton) shortly before midnight.

At press time, police said that Schaffner was released to a third-party.

There were no injuries reported. No further details provided.
