NYSP: Lowville resident accused of intoxicated driving

LOWVILLE- A local resident from Lewis County is accused of intoxicated driving.

During the early hours on Saturday, the New York State Police (Lowville) arrested and charged Melissa S. Young, 47, of Lowville, NY with one count each of DWI (first offense) and operating a motor vehicle (w/a .08 of 1% BAC or greater).

According to Troopers, this arrest was made at 3:45 a.m. Saturday in the village of Lowville.

At press time, authorities said that Young was released to a third party.
