NYSP: Madison County resident faced with sex offense charge in West Turin

WEST TURIN- A resident from the Cazenovia, NY area is accused of a sex offense charge in Lewis County, according to authorities.

Timothy I. Hirt, 64, of New Woodstock, NY was arrested Thursday morning by the New York State Police (Lowville). Hirt is formally charged with one misdemeanor count of forcible touching (intimate parts of another person).

Troopers say the arrest stems from complaints filed on April 29 in the town of West Turin. At press time, police said that Hirt was issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details provided.
