NYSP: North Country resident charged with petit larceny in town of Lowville

LOWVILLE- A North Country resident is faced with a larceny accusation in Lewis County, authorities say.

Troy A. Johnson, 23, of Carthage, NY was arrested early Friday by the New York State Police (Lowville). Johnson is formally charged with one misdemeanor count of petit larceny.

According to Troopers, the arrest stems from a larceny complaint filed in the town of Lowville on Thursday night.

At press time, police said that Johnson was issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details provided.
