NYSP: North Country resident charged with public lewdness

WEST CARTHAGE- A North Country resident is accused of public lewdness in Jefferson County, authorities say.

Wilford F. Taylor, 55, of Gouverneur, NY was arrested Tuesday morning by the New York State Police (Lowville). Taylor is formally charged with one misdemeanor count of public lewdness (intentionally exposing one’s private parts in public).

According to Troopers, the charge stems from complaints last Friday in the village of West Carthage, NY.

At press time, police said that Taylor was issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details provided.
