NYSP: Petit larceny charge issued to North Country resident in wake of larceny investigation in Jefferson County

WATERTOWN- A North Country resident is accused in a Jefferson County larceny investigation, authorities say.

Fanci Copley, 46, of Carthage, NY was arrested on Monday evening by the New York State Police (Watertown). Copley is formally charged with one misdemeanor count of petit larceny.

According to Troopers, the arrest stems from a larceny complaint in the town of Watertown.

At press time, authorities said that Copley was issued with an appearance ticket and there were no further details provided.
