When spring turned into summer this year, many weather experts say the general New York State region went from a very wet and cold pattern and right into a very hot and dry pattern.
Despite a very hot and dry summer, some parts of the local North Country region have benefited from some rainfall over these last several days.
Still, farmer Ben Simons says planting season was delayed and the general crop harvest forecast does not look as promising when compared to other seasons.
