LOWVILLE- On Monday, November 10, 2025, Director of Quality and Registered Nurse at Lewis County Health System, Lyndsey Allen, joined North Country News and wrapped up our latest on-air series focusing on strokes and heart-attacks.

In our previous on-air segment with Allen, she discussed a rising local trend of people visiting the LCHS emergency department and who were actually suffering from stroke and heart attack.   

IN response, officials at LCHS organized a campaign effort to spread awareness of the issue, including prevention tips and symptoms to monitor.
