On Friday, April 17, 2026, local agriculture figure, Ben Simons, joined North Country News for part two of his latest insight concerning the U.S. Farm Bill.

The U.S. Farm Bill is supposed to be revised every five-years, but farmers and agriculture producers here across the country have been under the same bill since 2018.

In part one of our latest coverage on this, Mr. Simons claimed that there very well could be a newly revised farm bill come this summer.
