One victim suffers non-life threatening gunshot wound in town of Western domestic dispute, Troopers say

ONEIDA COUNTY- State Police are expected to release more details concerning a domestic incident Monday evening in the town of Western, where gunshots were reportedly fired.

It was around 7:40 p.m. when Troopers responded to a compliant on Main Street. Upon arrival, State Police located one victim at the scene who suffered a gunshot wound, though non-life threatening, authorities clarified.

A suspect was taken into custody and Troopers are expected to follow up with more details as it becomes available.

State Police made it clear that there is no current threat to public safety.
