Oneida County domestic dispute results in charged filed against Lee man

VERNON- A local man is faced with charges in the wake of a physical altercation that occurred over the summer in Oneida County.

The Sheriff's Office announced on Wednesday the arrest of Christopher Waller, 40, of Lee, NY for one misdemeanor count each of forcible touching and assault in the third-degree.

Patrols were originally dispatched to an incident on July 14 in the town of Vernon.

According to investigators, a female victim claimed she was subjected to unwanted sexual contact and was allegedly stuck by Waller during the course of the physical altercation. 

At press time, police said that Waller was issued an appearance ticket returnable to Vernon Town Court on a later date.

There were no further details provided.
