Lee Center juvenile facing felony offense in Steuben

STEUBEN- A juvenile from Oneida County is faced with a felony offense stemming from an incident late last month.

On Friday morning, the New York State Police (Remsen) announced the arrest of a 16-year-old teen from Lee Center, NY for one felony count of criminal mischief in the third-degree.

Due to the juvenile’s age and youthful offender status, police did not release a suspect name.

The charge was filed stemming from a harassment case in the town of Steuben.

According to Troopers, this arrest is in connection with a previously reported incident involving a 17-year-old Boonville juvenile, who was charged back on September 10 with misdemeanor assault in the town of Steuben.

At press time, police said the Lee Center teen suspect was issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details provided.
