
GREIG- A man from the Hudson Valley area is accused of intoxicated driving in the wake of a motor vehicle crash late Monday in Lewis County, authorities are reporting.
Timothy A. Baker, 41, of Highland, NY is officially charged by the Sheriff's Office for one count of DWI.
The arrest stems from reports of an accident around 10:30 p.m. in the town of Greig. Investigation suggests that Baker smashed his 2020 Kia Sorrento into a telephone pole after failing to stop at a stop-sign on Brantingham Road.

He was heading in a southwesterly direction, authorities clarified.
While on scene, deputies allege that Baker appeared to be intoxicated. He subsequently failed field sobriety tests and was taken to the Public Safety Building.
While there, Baker reportedly registered a .13% BAC during processing.
He was released on an appearance ticket.
