LEE- UPDATE: Michael Smith has been located and is no longer considered a missing person.

Previous report: Authorities have issued a missing person alert in Oneida County.

The Sheriff’s Office was called out Sunday evening to an address on the Golly Road, town of Lee, to investigate claims of a missing person.

Deputies learned that Michael Smith, 56, had left the residence sometime around 11:00 a.m. that same morning in a red colored 1997 GMC Sierra pick-up, bearing a New York registration KBY4971.

Smith has not yet been seen or heard from since, according to police, as of this report.
