Port Leyden Man Accused of D.W.I. in the Town of Leyden

TOWN OF LEYDEN-A 58 year old Port Leyden man was arrested for D.W.I. following an early Sunday morning vehicle stop in the Town of Leyden. New York State Police from the Lowville Barracks charged Roger A. Stefanchik with one count each of Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Blood Alcohol Content of .08 of 1 percent -First Offense and Driving While Intoxicated-First Offense; both Class U misdemeanors. Stefanchik was issued an appearance ticket and will answer the charge in the Town of Leyden Court at a later date.
