Remsen, Barneveld Fire Departments respond to garage fire

ONEIDA COUNTY- A garage fire Thursday afternoon prompted the response of two local fire departments.

It happened shortly before 2:00 p.m. on the Fuller Road, town of Steuben. Remsen was the primary responder, with Barneveld providing mutual aid.

Firefighters reported a working structure fire in a detached garage (an exact address was not provided).

It is reported that damage was kept to a minimum, according to emergency responders.
