WASHINGTON, D.C.- Congresswoman Elise Stefanik (R-NY-21) will remain the third-ranked Republican in the House of Representatives with her re-election as Conference Chair.
“I’m honored to earn support from my colleagues to continue serving as House Republican Conference Chair,” she said.
“We won this majority because of our Commitment to America, and we are the last line of defense in a House Republican majority to stand up for the American people. I particularly am proud being from the state of New York—we picked up four seats in New York State, flipping blue districts to red, and we will have a tremendous Republican Conference in the 118th Congress.”
While giving her thanks for a successful re-election, Stefanik also made a point to criticize President Joe Biden and the mainstream media. “As we saw clearly across my home state of New York, the American people cannot afford Democrats’ reckless spending and want an alternative to Democrats’ failed, far Left policies,” she went on.
“House Republicans have solutions and are ready to prosecute the case against Joe Biden and his failed radical agenda.”
With the 2022 mid-term elections in the books, Stefanik defeated her Democratic challenger, Matt Castelli, to keep her 21st District Seat in Congress.
