
UTICA- Jurors have reached a verdict in the trial of three former Corrections Officers, who were all accused of being involved in the fatal beating of inmate Robert Brooks, who died last December.
This development is according to the latest from WKTV. Reports suggest that David Kingsley has been found guilty of both murder and manslaughter.
Meanwhile, jurors found Nicholas Kieffer NOT GUILTY of murder, manslaughter, gang assault and offering false instrument and Matthew Galliher NOT GUILTY of murder, manslaughter and gang assault.
Last December, authorities began investigating what turned out to be a fatal beating of former Marcy inmate, Robert Brooks.
The incident, which involved numerous corrections officers, occurred on December 9. Brooks passed on December 10.
The incident occurred while Brooks was handcuffed, as shown by body camera footage obtained and reviewed by investigators.
