NEW YORK & OKLAHOMA- A legitimate license, but without a name. That is actually the case for one particular instance and Governor Hochul is taking some heat from officials.

According to a recent publication from the New York Post, a raid in the state of Oklahoma has resulted in what seems to be a very unusual development.

Governor Kevin Stitt told reporters there were 125 illegal immigrants rounded up by authorities, including one man who possessed a New York CDL with ‘No Name Given’ in place of his first and middle name label.

It sounds like this would be the work of a fake license, but according to the New York Post, a New York State DMV worker confirmed that the license was legitimately issued.

“If New York wants to hand out CDLs to illegal immigrants with ‘No Name Given,’ that’s on them. The moment they cross into Oklahoma, they answer to our laws,” Governor Stitt said in a social media statement.

DMV Spokesperson Walter McLure told reporters that the license in question was issued in accordance with all proper procedures and that the man had a lawful status to work in the U.S. through a federal employment authorization program.

In addition to Governor Stitt, New York Representative Elise Stefanik (R-NY-21) chimed right in by criticizing the state’s ‘Green Light Law.’ “Kathy Hochul's sanctuary state Green Light Law is not only a threat to New Yorkers; it is endangering families across America," she said.

According to the report, it was not immediately known how many other similar licenses have been issued.
