Retired State Trooper announces bid to challenge Mike Carpinelli for Lewis County Sheriff

LOWVILLE- Message from Sheriff Candidate Nichole Turck:

“Good Afternoon,

My name is Nichole Turck and I am proud to announce to the people of Lewis County that I am running for Sheriff.”

“I grew up on a dairy farm in the Town of Champion with my mom and dad, Ruth and Hollis Scoville. The agreement was if I got the first cutting of hay done before the Lewis County Fair- I could go! That and spending time at my grandparents camp on Chases Lake were the highlights of my summers growing up. I was later able to work and live in Lewis County while serving with the State Police. I am now retired from the state police with 20 years of dedicated service. I was also very fortunate to spend over half of my law enforcement career serving the people of Lewis County, which was the place that meant so much to me growing up. The people here are amazing. I have worked in other areas during my career but they did not compare to the support law enforcement has in Lewis County. I believe the people of this County deserve to have a choice.” 

“As Sheriff I will provide a different style of leadership for the people of Lewis County. I want to unite agencies and governmental offices to work together with the common goal to better Serve and Protect the people."
