Rome resident accused of having inappropriate physical and electronic contact with underage female child

ONEIDA COUNTY- Authorities in Oneida County say a local resident is accused of inappropriate physical and electronic contact with an underage girl.

Jeffrey Taylor, 47, of Rome, NY was arrested by Sheriff’s Investigators on Monday for two misdemeanor counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

The case was opened back on September 15. Investigators discovered that Taylor had alleged inappropriate physical and electronic contact with a female less than the age of 17.

Officials said the victim was offered counseling services.

In addition, an order of protection was requested on behalf of the victim.
