TRENTON- A domestic incident this week in Oneida County has resulted in several charges filed against a local resident.

According to the New York State Police (Marcy), William B. Straite, 66, of Prospect, NY was arrested and charged on one felony count of assault in the second-degree (intent to cause physical injury w/a weapon); along with one misdemeanor count each of criminal obstruction of breathing, criminally possessing a weapon in the fourth-degree (w/intent to use), menacing in the second-degree (w/a weapon) and criminal mischief (w/intent to damage property).

Troopers say these charges all stem from a reported domestic incident Wednesday afternoon in the town of Trenton.
