Snowmobiler suffers non-life threatening injuries after crashing into tree in Western Adirondacks

NYSP Old Forge Snowmobile Crash December 2025

WEBB- A snowmobile accident in the Western Adirondacks over the weekend resulted in non-life threatening injuries.

It was sometime shortly before 2:30 a.m. Sunday when emergency responders were dispatched to an accident report on Trail 8 in the town of Webb, Herkimer County.

According to an investigation via the New York State Police, Kristin R. Millington, age 42, from Mountain Top, Pennsylvania, was operating a 2023 Ski-Doo snowmobile westbound when she struck a tree on the north shoulder.

Millington was ejected from the snowmobile and sustained non-life-threatening injuries. She was transported by Old Forge Ambulance to Wynn Hospital for treatment.

At press time, Troopers said that Millington was issued a ticket for imprudent speed, returnable to the town of Webb Court.

The State Police would like to thank the Old Forge Fire Department for their assistance with a UTV and transporting State Police members to the scene.
