SOURCE: Jury now seated in Lewis County murder trial

LOWVILLE- A jury is now seated in the murder trial of Jacob Vanbergen.

This development surfaces from the latest reports via WWNY-TV.

As previously reported, Vanbergen is on trial for allegedly strangling his former friend and employer, Brandon Shepker, 39.

Both men are from the state of Pennsylvania and were snowmobiling before the murder took place at the Ridge View Lodge in January, 2024.

At the time, Vanbergen was 24-years-old.

Opening statements were aimed to begin Wednesday morning in Lewis County Court.
