TROOPERS: Port Leyden resident is accused of unlicensed operation in Ava

AVA- A North Country resident is accused of unlicensed operation in Oneida County.

On Tuesday evening, Russell John Rocker, 54, of Port Leyden, NY was arrested and charged by the New York State Police (Lee) with one count of aggravated unlicensed operation in the third-degree.

Troopers say the charge was filed in the town of Ava.

At press time, police said that Rocker was released.

There were no further details provided.
