State fire investigators seeking cause of Remsen barn blaze Wednesday morning
ONEIDA COUNTY- Fire investigators from New York State are working to solve what sparked a major barn blaze Wednesday morning near Remsen, NY.
As of this update, an official cause has yet to be revealed. As previously reported, it happened shortly before 9:00 a.m. at 10224 Lake Julia Road.
Remsen was the primary fire department on scene, with Barneveld, Forestport, Boonville, Stittville, Holland Patent, Poland and Floyd Fire Departments all called for assistance.
While speaking with Remsen’s Assistant Fire Chief Thursday morning, it was reported that there were no known animals or beef cattle inside when the barn went up in flames.
No human injuries were reported.
