JEFFERSON COUNTY- Jeffrey Fineout, the man suspected for severely beating his own elderly mother in Jefferson Couny, allegedly told medical personnel at Carthage Area Hospital that her injuries were “accidental.”

This update is according to some of the latest from WWNY-TV.

On the other hand, police reported that week that their investigation suggested that the injuries suffered by Jee. Y. Fineout, 72, Jeffrey’s mother, were not accidental in nature.

She was brought to Carthage Area Hospital back in February. Officials said she suffered from brain bleed and other severe injuries.

It’s reported that she was unable to communicate what had happened.

After police collected evidence, the case was presented to a grand jury and Jeffrey was arrested by authorities last Thursday.

As of Friday, he remained at the Jefferson County Jail.

Unfortunately, Jeffrey’s mother died on April 26, just four days before the grand jury issued the indictment.
