
ROME- Police are asking for the public's assistance in the wake of Monday night's robbery at an area fast food establishment.
It happened at around 8:30 p.m. Monday at the 106 S. Madison Street address, otherwise known as Burger King.
Upon arrival, officers from Rome City Police made contact with a store employee, who reported that an unknown suspect entered the business, brandished a knife, and demanded money from the cash register.
The suspect then fled from the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. No injuries were reported during the incident.
