BOONVILLE- A trio of local teenagers are all accused of trespassing and tampering with electronic equipment at Adirondack Central School after authorities investigated a break-in complaint last week.

The New York State Police did not release any names, ages or home addresses for the teens. All three are officially charged with misdemeanor counts of criminal trespass in the third-degree.

Officials say the internet at the high school was lost last Thursday. The next day, school administrators reached out to the State Police for assistance.

Investigation suggests that the teens gained entry to a classroom via an unsecured window. From there, the teens worked their way into a storage room, where the network cables for the school’s internet server were removed.

During questioning, the teens did admit to breaking in to the school while it was closed.

The trio received appearance tickets, which are all returnable to Oneida County Probation.
