Tinted window traffic stop in Boonville results in aggravated unlicensed operation bust

BOONVILLE- A traffic stop Thursday in the village resulted in an unlicensed operation bust.

According to the Village Police Department, patrols pulled a vehicle over on State Route 12 after observing dark tinted side windows.

While interviewing with the driver, identified as Courtney M. Sanborn, 30, of Port Leyden, NY, police found out that her license was suspended.

Specifically, police allege that there were 15 suspensions on her driver’s license.

Sanborn was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation in the second-degree, along with various other unspecified violations.

Sanborn was issued citations, which are returnable to Boonville Town Court at a later date.

Police said she was not allowed to drive from the scene.
