Town of Western domestic incident results in felony and misdemeanor charges against Oneida County area resident

WESTERN- A domestic incident this week in Oneida County has resulted in charges filed against a North Country area resident.

Shortly before 1:00 a.m. Friday, the New York State Police arrested and charged Paul E. Calderon, 33, of Holland Patent, NY with one felony count of criminal contempt in the first-degree and one misdemeanor count of criminal mischief in the fourth-degree (disabling equipment to contact emergency services).

According to Troopers, these charges stem from a reported domestic incident Thursday night in the town of Western.

At press time, Calderon’s arrest status suggested an appearance for centralized arraignment.

There were no further details provided.
