TROOPERS: North Country resident charged with petit larceny in Jefferson County

WILNA- A North Country resident is faced with a larceny charge in Jefferson County, authorities are reporting.

Brandon R. Chapel, 28, of Natural Bridge, NY was arrested Wednesday afternoon by the New York State police (Carthage). Chapel is formally charged with one misdemeanor count of petit larceny.

According to Troopers, the arrest stems from a larceny complaint filed earlier that afternoon in the town of Wilna.

At press time, police said that Chapel was issued with an appearance ticket.
