Troopers: North Country resident faced with charges from alleged domestic dispute

CHAMPION- A North Country resident is faced with charges that trace back to complaints of a domestic dispute this week, authorities say.

Lacie A. Thomas, 23, of Carthage, NY was arrested Wednesday afternoon by the New York State Police (Alexandria Bay). Thomas is officially charged with one felony count of criminal contempt in the first-degree (w/physical contact) and one misdemeanor count of acting in a manner injurious to a child (<17).

According to Troopers, these charges stem from an alleged domestic incident, which was reported last Saturday in the town of Champion.

At press time, police said that Thomas was issued with an appearance ticket.
