Two Adults and Two Teens Arrested following Alleged Assault in the Village of Remsen

VILLAGE OF REMSEN-Two adults and two teens were arrested Friday following an investigation into a report of a simple assault that reportedly occurred on April 5th in the Village of Remsen. New York State Police from the Marcy Barracks charged 42-year-old Shawna Ferris of Remsen and 23 year old Hunter A. Braglin of Port Leyden with one count each of Acting in a Manner Injurious to a Child Less than 17 years old: a Class A misdemeanor. Ferris and Braglin were issued appearance tickets returnable to the Village of Remsen Court at a later date. An 18-year-old resident of Boonville, whose name not released, was issued an appearance ticket for Assault in the 3rd Degree with Intent to Cause Physical Injury, a Class A misdemeanor. And a 15-year-old juvenile from Remsen was charged with one count each of Assault in the 3rd Degree with Intent to cause Physical Injury and Criminal Mischief with intent to Damage Property:  Both Class A misdemeanors. The Juvenile will answer the charges in Family Court.  The Investigation as listed as ‘pending’ as of press time.
