Two Carthage residents faced with petit larceny charges in Jefferson County, Troopers say

JEFFERSON COUNTY- Two North Country residents are faced with accusations that trace back to a reported larceny in Jefferson County.

Michelle Lyn Sochia, 38, and Cody Joshua Keech, 31, both of Carthage, NY were arrested on Monday night by the New York State Police (Watertown). Both suspects are officially charged with one misdemeanor count of petit larceny in the town of Le Ray.

The arrests stem from a larceny complaint last Wednesday.

In a separate case in the town of Watertown, Keech was charged by State Police with a misdemeanor count of petit larceny.

At press time, police said that both suspects were issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details provided.
